A Call by Physicians, Health Professionals, and Citizens to End Atmospheric Pollution and Contamination Through Aerosolized Dispersions, Geoengineering, and Climate Interventions
About the Declaration
The Clear Skies Declaration unites physicians, health professionals, and citizens in calling on our government to protect human health, ecosystems, and fundamental rights by halting geoengineering practices and climate intervention experiments. Our skies, air, and environment are shared natural resources that must be protected for present and future generations.
We call for these programs to be banned:
GeoEngineering

Large-scale technologies employed to alter Earth’s climate, such as blocking sunlight, manipulating temperatures, or reflecting solar radiation.
Weather Modification

The intentional manipulation of weather, including precipitation, fog, and storms, by altering or influencing atmospheric processes.
Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI)
The spraying of nanoparticles of heavy metals, chemical aerosols, and other materials into the upper atmosphere to block sunlight and manipulate temperatures.
Solar Radiation Modification (SRM)
Approaches designed to lower Earth’s global temperature by deploying reflective aerosols within the upper atmosphere to deflect solar radiation.
Protecting Earth’s Atmosphere
We must protect our atmosphere (and our air, water, and soil) from the following:
Heavy Metals
Particulates and compounds of metals (aluminum, barium, strontium, & more)
Aerosols
Chemical aerosols such as sulfur dioxide, and alumina compounds, among others
Nano Materials
Nanomaterials such as graphene oxide, polymers, silver, silica, TiO₂, and ZnO, and more
Toxic Pollutants
All toxic and pollutive additives to jet fuels, such as Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
Other Agents
Hazardous agents, such as Biological (bacterium or virus), electromagnetic, biocides, and more

The Declaration
As physicians, health professionals, and citizens committed to the health of our patients and the human population as a whole, we call for an immediate ban on geoengineering, weather manipulation, climate intervention programs, or deployment of any toxic or hazardous substances across the globe. These programs are highly toxic to human health. They are extremely destructive to our planet’s ecosystems. They represent a gross violation of basic human rights. They must be brought to an end.
The programs we call to be banned include all activities that involve the release into the Earth’s atmosphere of:
- Particulates and compounds of metals such as aluminum, barium, strontium, and others
- Chemical aerosols such as sulfur compounds and others
- Nanomaterials such as graphene oxide, polymers, and others
- Toxic and pollutive additives to jet fuels
- Biological, electromagnetic, and other hazardous agents
The programs we call to be banned include, but are not limited to, those identified and funded under names such as:
- Geoengineering, Climate Engineering, and Weather Modification
- Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) or similar
- Solar Radiation Management (SRM) or similar
Heath Hazards
Regardless of the stated intent of these programs, they constitute deliberate pollution and degradation of the Earth’s atmosphere. They contaminate our air, water, and soil. They pose a serious threat to all forms of life.
These activities are toxic to humans by multiple mechanisms. These include heavy metal toxicities, neurodegenerative diseases, lung disease, sunlight deprivation, increased mental illness, and others.
Beyond harming humans, they are also toxic to animals and plants. They pose long-term threats to biodiversity, agriculture, pollinators, and the environment as a whole. They threaten our future and that of our children and grandchildren.
Human Rights Violations
These programs are an extreme violation of fundamental human rights. They are conducted entirely without informed consent.
Numerous government documents, budget appropriations, and patents confirm these activities, but there has been limited public transparency. These programs are shrouded in secrecy, obfuscation, and falsehoods by those perpetrating them, in a complex web of private and public partnership.
In the name of human health, the viability of our natural world, and fundamental human rights, we call for an immediate and enforceable ban on all forms of atmospheric geoengineering and weather modification described above.
We call for an end to the concealment of such activities. We call for the establishment of strict governmental enforcement against such activities and the establishment of accountability measures to protect future generations from irreversible harm.
